RAL 7016 Anthracite grey Reynaers and AluK windows and doors in Seaton bungalow project
On the edge of Seaton, Devon sits a new build bungalow featuring aluminium sliding doors, bi-folding doors, a front door, windows and rooflights. Carefully thought out and finished to a high specification.
A Reynaers CP 130 LS lift and slide door, on a double rail track, and an AluK 58BW slim frame, fixed floor to ceiling window sits around a 90 degree corner. Completely opening up the dining room side of the room. An aluminium pressing in the same colour as the window and door covers the steel post, tying the glazing together.
A Blu 316 marine grade stainless steel lever handle, with cup on the outside was specified for the sliding door.
A 3 leaf bi-folding door in the living area opens out onto the balcony. Allowing the doors to be completely opened when the weather permits. Roof lights sit above the kitchen area, with a glazed single door to the side, ensuring the light reaches this area of the room.
An aluminium front door with pull handle and side light was selected as the main entrance door, leading into the hallway.
AluK 58BW casement windows, with trickle vents were installed throughout the rest of the bungalow, in a mixture of side hung and top hung openings, to best suit the size of the windows and the requirements of the room. All with 28mm double glazing.
RAL 7016 Matt anthracite grey in a 60 micron paint finish, was chosen for the windows and doors. Matching the grey bricks and roof whilst creating a contrast from the render.
