Lift & Slide Doors in Modern Extension

Contemporary extension with Reynaers CP 130 LS sliding doors and SL 68 slim line windows in anthracite grey

Sat within a highly sought after area overlooking the estuary, a modern extension, with glazing on three sides was added to the back of this property to increase the living space and make the most of the views.

Featuring an 8 metre wide Reynaers CP 130LS lift and slide sliding door. With 2 x fixed panels and 2 x opening panels. The doors open from the middle, creating a 4 metre wide opening when fully opened.

A low 37mm threshold was specified with just 2mm sitting above the finished floor level, creating a seamless transition between the living area and the patio.

Satin silver lever handles have been installed on the inside of both of the opening doors and recessed cup handles on the outside. Allowing you to slide open and close the doors from the outside when the doors are in the unlocked position.

Maintenance free, modern, solar powered integral blinds have been installed into the double glazing between the two sheets of glass, eliminating the need for curtains.

Above the doors sit a gable frame window, with 4 pieces of shaped glass. Either side of the doors are full height windows using the Reynaers SL 68  slim line system. All double glazed.

RAL 7016 anthracite grey with a full pre-anodised finish, was chosen for the windows and doors. With aluminium pressings in the same colour to tie it all together. A pre-anodised finish was specified in order to protect the frames in the marine environment.
